Day 9 (16 June 2018) Pangong to Leh ( 222 KM)

It was very cold last night. One of my friend is again suffering from AMS. We all are feeling symptoms of it. So it is better to leave early. We get up at 7 and getting ready for the day. Food was not up to the mark. The tent owner served us Chapties with Jam and butter. That was very bad. So we started our journey without break fast. One thing to remember that there is not petrol pump at Pangong so before coming to here a extra fuel with you.
Today will be a long day. It was very cold at morning also. We get the chance to see the snow fall just after leaving the Pangong Lake. We will be crossing the "Chang La" (5360 M). So lets start.......

It was very long drive today. Went through the Chang La pass. Roads were bad due to snow fall and steeps are very high. Sometime my friend have to push the car when stopped on steep due to bad roads. But at the end if everything goes fine and you reached to your destination with any hassle, It mean every thing was fine :-)
