Day 6 (13 June 2018) Gurudwara Pathar Sahib (Ladakh ) to Leh Distance (25KM)
After spending adventures night inside the tent, we started our small journey towards Leh early in the morning. Leh is just about 25 minutes from here. Today is the rest day. Will stay at Leh town will rest and prepare for the Nubra Valley, Diskit, Hunder. We stayed at "Tiger Hill Resort" at old Leh city. After rest we explored the market. We inspected our vehicles for wear and tear.
Leh is big town one can find every thing here. It is very hot at the day time and after sun it is getting colder and colder. There are many markets in Leh. You will find small to big brands here. Things prices are not too high. We got this hotel for 1000 ruppes for three. Rooms were big enough and clean. It was one of the great stay here.
There are many places around Leh Town that you can explore like Shanti Stupa, Hall of fame museum, Leh palace.
My friend Gurpreet was not felling well from yesterday night. I had some fever yesterday. Today also he is not feeling well. We tried to get him to hospital but he denied by saying I need rest after resting I will be fine.
At evening we take him to hospital and doctor told us he is suffering from AMS. Shit that is not right. We were looking at each other faces. We were not even think about it. They hospitalise him and gave is o2 for 3 hours and doctor told all of us that drink 5 liter of water a day other wise you all will face the same issue. Thank got he is fine at the night. Doctor prescribe him Dimox tablets three times a day. Next day we asked him if he want to go home or accompany with us, he replied "I will go with you only, I am not here to go back to home". So we let for the Khardungla Pass the world's highest motorable pass.
Note :- Be careful about your health. Reach to direct hospital if you have any of symptom of AMS.
